A group of motivated Young People from St Francis Flexible School are gaining valuable work experience and developing essential life skills to prepare them for the workforce.
The school coffee van has assisted Young People to master their hospitality skills and take on key responsibilities, from preparing and serving beverages to managing customer interactions.
Recently, students completed their Certificate in Fundamentals of Barista Workshop, and the coffee van has provided them with an experience that has built their confidence, improved their communication and teamwork skills, and taught them the ins and outs of running a small business.
The school coffee van not only serves as a practical learning environment but also provides Young People with real-world skills to boost their personal and professional growth, preparing them for the workforce while fostering a sense of community within the school.
